Saturday 10am Tallies

At 10:00hrs, the first formal tally for this year’s BioBlitz, Inis Mór have taken a very early lead, having already recorded and logged 477 species. Cape Clear and Bere Island are neck and neck,as are Clare Island and Tory Island, al beit someway behind.  Inis Mór has recorded the most plant species and has recorded good numbers of moths, birds & bryophytes. It begs the question, have they peaked too soon?
