The award for the island that recorded the most species of conservation value, those that are threatened or protected, goes to Inis Mór with 73 species. Tory Island is next with 64 followed closely by Cape Clear with 62 species. Bere Island recorded 54 species and Clare Island 42. Well done Inis Mór!

The National Biodiversity Data Centre is an Initiative of the Heritage Council and is operated under a service level agreement by Compass Informatics. The data centre is funded by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the Heritage Council.
