The 20:00hrs has three islands, Bere, Inis Mór and Cape Clear neck and neck with only 6 species separating them. This is going to go right down to the wire tomorrow, with very few species separating these islands. Clare Island is lagging somewhat behind, but we are suspicious that many species have been recorded but they are just slow in logging them on the system. The morning will tell. Tory Island has done astonishingly well to keep in the running, but we wonder is there many species to find tomorrow. As we come to a close the day’s recording activity, a remarkable 1,975 different species have been recorded across the five island. Still plenty activity to go in the morning.
