Survey teams assembled

Bat recording at Coole Park 21st of May 2010
Island BioBlitz – a huge survey efffort

The survey teams for each of the five island have now been assembled, and what an impressive list of people we have. So far, more than 150 recorders have signed up to help with the recording activity, ensuring that many specialised aspects of biodiversity will be surveyed as part of the event. This includes members of partner organisations who will also showcase the survey work that they do. Inis Mór, with 40 team members, leads the way in terms of number of surveyors. One wonders, is this a foretaste of things to come? It is still not too late to participate in this unique event, so please get in contact if you would like to get involved in Island BioBlitz. It is shaping up to be a wonderful event.
